The superstars of world darts grace Alexandra Palace from the 19th December – 4th January for the Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship. The current champion John Part faces stiff competition from messiahs Phil Taylor and Raymond van Barneveld. The 13-time World Champion and number one seed, Phil “The Power” Taylor, faces Somerset qualifier Steve Grubb in his first match. Dutch master Raymond van Barneveld faces Newcastle’s Mark Stephenson in the first round. The Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship is always a massive betting tournament. Ricky “The Hitman” Hatton visits the MGM Grand; the scene of his Floyd Mayweather Jnr defeat. Hatton has changed from his long-term trainer Billy Graham to Floyd Mayweather Snr hoping a classy performance will prove his doubters wrong. However a well-seasoned Paulie Malignaggi will prove a stern test. Malignaggi has insisted Hatton is past his best and hopes to end the fight early. The bets have to been coming through fast for this boxing spectacular.
Aston Villa v Manchester United 22nd November 2008
Both teams come into this full of confidence. Aston Villa dented Arsenal’s title challenge with a well-deserved 2-0 performance at the Emirates stadium. Manchester United’s quality was evident against Stoke City as they produced a master class of style and attacking flair. Villa will be tougher opposition for United as they threaten to break into a Champions League place. However Sir Alex Ferguson will want his team to step up a gear and not lose sight of Chelsea and Liverpool at the top of the table. This televised game will have goals galore and some great bet-in-play action.
ODI International Cricket – India v England 20th November 2008 – 2nd December 2008
With two defeats England will be hoping to register a win soon. India have been in full flow with some fantastic performances that have oozed class. However the England side have shown signs of a revival.

It’s off to Madison Square Garden this weekend as the ‘Pride of Wales’ Joe Calzaghe fights in what he claims to be his last bout before retirement. And what a way to go out as he takes on one the all time greats in Roy Jones, Jr. Jones has, not for the first time, come out of retirement for this fight and Calzaghe is favourite at 1/3. However, don’t expect a roll over from arguably the best pound for pound fighter there has ever been!
Premier League Football- Arsenal vs Manchester United 8th November
This Saturday see’s another sure to be epic battle between the two teams who dominated English football over the last decade or so, until one Russian billionaire popped up in West London.
This is the key match up of the weekend and, with Liverpool’s resilience shown this year with victories already over Chelsea and United, both teams will want to win this to stay in touch with the leaders and reaffirm their title credentials.
Tennis- ATP Masters Cup: Shanghai, China 9th-16th November
World number four and British number one Andy Murray has been drawn in the same group as world number two Roger Federer for the season-ending ATP Masters Cup in Shanghai. This promises to be a thrilling tournament and Murray looks a good bet on recent form at 5/2.

Cricket: Twenty20- Stanford Super Stars vs England
England take on a team of Caribbean all stars on November 1st in the Stanford 20/20 for 20 match in which the winning team walks away with $20 million dollars and loser with NOTHING. With two teams having the chance to win such life-changing sums of money this game promises to be an exciting and dramatic showpiece.

FIFA WORLD CUP 2010 Qualifying Matches
England return to action for the first time following a superb performance against Croatia which after missing Euro 2008, gave the perfect start to World Cup 2010 qualifying.
