Yesterday saw world number one Ronnie O’Sullivan come back from two frames down to beat Liang Wenbo 5-2 in the first round of the Royal London Watches Grand Prix. The “Rocket” now takes on Marco Fu in a repeat of last year’s final and it’s 3/1 for Ronnie once more to bounce back from two frames down and win. O’Sullivan is 1/3 favourite to book his place in the last eight and 9/1 to whitewash Fu. Ronnie finished in style yesterday with a break of 103 and it’s 15/2 for him to win the match with a 100 break in the final frame.

Fu, who defeated Ronnie to take the 2007 Snooker Grand Prix, is 9/4 to inflict another defeat on the World number one and it’s 4/7 for Fu to win with a handicap start of +2.5 frames. The 30 year-old from Hong Kong is 4/1 to be leading after the first four frames and he’s 14/1 to make a dream start and have a break of 100 or more in the first frame.

In the other second round matches, Joe Perry is 8/15 to beat Judd Trump and it’s 5/4 for Perry to be leading after the first four frames.
