If Andy Murray reaches the Mens US Open Final, Paddy Power will refund all losing pre-tournament outright bets.
As Wimbledon fans assemble on Murray’s Mount this year, there is an even higher sense of expectation being placed on the young Scot’s shoulders. Murray seems to have hit a run of form just in time for the grass-court slam, and his victory at Queen’s has certainly turned up the heat on the competition.
But not to forget World No. 1 Rafael Nadal is the defending champion, while Roger Federer is a six-time winner at the All England Club, and between them, the pair have won every title since 2003.
All of the top four seeds seem to be in good form of late, and it would take a brave man to bet against any of them. So, why not just back them all to get to the semi’s?
That’s right folks Paddy Power has another great Enhanced Price Special for you!
If Novak Djokovic, Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray all get to the semi’s, Paddy Power will pay you odds of 4/1!
If Andy Murray or world number 1 Caroline Wozniacki win the Wimbledon singles title, VC Bet will refund all losing tournament outright bets as a FREE BET!

Rafael Nadal is 11/1 with Sky Bet to win all four Grand Slam titles in 2011 after he successfully overcame Novak Djokovic in the US Open final to claim his ninth Grand Slam crown. Last night’s victory now means that Nadal has now won five French Opens, two Wimbledon titles, one Australian and one US Open, as well as an Olympic gold medal and the Davis Cup.
It’s 6/1 for the Spaniard to fail to claim any one of the four Grand Slam titles in 2011 and 9/4 exactly one (6/2 exactly two and 100/30 exactly 3).
Sky Bet’s senior tennis compiler Chris Kennedy said “Nadal’s form was truly exceptional in the US Open final and if his body can hold up in 2011, then he could be all set to make a genuine bid for a sensational 4 Grand Slam titles in one year.” (more…)
Rafael Nadal’s odds have been cut to 5/4 (from 13/8) to claim the US Open following his straight sets victory over fellow Spaniard Feliciano Lopez to book his place in the quarter-finals at Flushing Meadows.
The world number one will now meet Fernando Verdasco on Thursday in the last eight and it’s 1/4 for the 24-year-old to progress through to the semi-finals (13/2 Verdasco). It’s 4/7 for Nadal to win his quarter-final clash in straight sets and 5/2 he wins 3-1.
Sky Bet’s tennis compiler Neil Brookes said: “Nadal will be confident heading into his quarter-final match after defeating Lopez in straight sets. He faces another compatriot in Fernando Verdasco and in the eleven previous meetings, Nadal is yet to lose. In those matches, Verdasco has only ever taken three sets off the world number 1 so it looks unlikely there will be an upset on the cards. The 24-year-old is now joint favourite with Federer at 5/4 to claim his first US Open title.” (more…)

Andy Murray’s recent form has made him the 3/1 second favourite with Paddy Power to lift the US Open Trophy. Murray is the best hard court player of the season but Federer’s recent win and past record makes him the 2/1 favourite just squeezing Murray out of top spot for the win at Flushing Meadows.
After the draw yesterday failed to dampen the hype of a British Grand Slam winner, a mouth watering match against Roger Federer is the bookmakers 9/4 favourite for the final in two weeks time.
Murray is also tipped to emulate the 6-0 favoured scoreline in the Premier League, he is 5/4 to have the most bagels in the tournament.
In the women’s singles Kim Clijsters is the 10/3 favourite ahead of Maria Sharapova at 4/1.
Roberto Coladangelo spokesman for Paddy Power said, ”Murray’s form has whipped British tennis fans into another frenzy ahead of the US Open. If he continues to play as he has been then another final against Roger looks on the cards. We think he is looking so good we also think he is going to give some of his early opponents a beating, picking up a few 6-0 nil sets along the way.” (more…)
