Tennis: Wimbledon: 22nd June – 5th July

All eyes will be on young Scot Andy Murray who has had a fantastic year since being knocked out last year by eventual champion Rafa Nadael and is 3/1 to win his first grand slam tournament at Wimbledon.

Manchester United showed great resilience against Wigan mid-week to earn a win. A point will be enough against foes Arsenal to retain their title. Manchester United are favourites at 1/2 but Arsenal (9/2) will love to spoil the celebrations.
UEFA Cup Final – FC Shakhtar Donetsk vs Werder Bremen – Wednesday 20th May 2009
Another footballing spectacle will reach a climax with the UEFA Cup final. FC Shakhtar Donetsk (5/6) and Werder Bremen (5/6) will meet for the final in Istanbul. Shakhtar are looking for their first European trophy while Bremen are looking for their second following their triumph in the 1991/92 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup. Bremen beat Cup favourites Hamburg to reach the final and will give Shaktar a stern test.
Guinness Premiership Final – Leicester vs London Irish – Saturday 16th May 2009
Last year’s Premiership final was the biggest rugby game the world had ever seen with 81,600 fans packing into the home of English rugby. Twickenham again hosts a fantastic contest between favourites Leicester and, not to be written off, London Irish. ‘The Exiles’ may be the underdogs at 9/5 but will be sure to fancy their chances after trouncing second placed Harlequins on their own turf in the semi – final.
