Cheltenham 2011: Boylesports pay out early on Big Buck’s to win World Hurdle
Boylesports, Ireland’s largest independent bookmaker, are paying out on Big Buck’s for the World Hurdle. Paul Nicholls’ star hurdler has won the last two World Hurdles and is unbeaten in 10 races over the smaller obstacles in Britain.
Grands Crus was an impressive winner of the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham last month and is most people’s idea of the biggest threat to Big Buck’s attempt for a historic third straight win. However, Boylesports still see the result as a formality and the decision to pay out three weeks before the event is costing the company £250,000.
