(expired)Cash In On Kaka

With news that a ‘top team’ of delegates from Manchester City are in Italy to negotiate the transfer of Brazilian star Kaka from AC Milan bookie Paddy Power is betting on what the record-breaking transfer fee might be.

Paddy Power believes the most likely transfer fee to be an eye-watering £90-100 million at 11/4 whilst its 7/2 to break the £100 million barrier (up to £110 million).

However with Milan’s vice-president Adriani Galliani warning The Blues it will take “an obscene amount” to prise the former world player of the year away from them, mega-rich City are 11/2 to cough up more than £120 million. It’s also the same odds should there be a reality check and the Kaka fee to be closer to the current record mark of £46 million for Zinedine Zidane in 2001 and be less that £70 million.

Darren Haines, spokesman for Paddy Power, said: “The numbers involved in a Kaka transfer are simply mind-boggling. Most punters are never going to see that kind of money in their lifetime but might be able to enjoy a slightly smaller windfall if they call the correct transfer fee.”

What will be Kaka’s Transfer Fee to Man City

11/2      Less than £70 million

11/2      £70-80 million

10/3      £80-90 million

11/4      £90-100 million

7/2        £100-110 million

11/2      £110-120 million

11/2      More than £120 million
