(expired)Boyd 3/1 To Play Again Under Burley

Following Kris Boyd’s announcement that he will not play again for Scotland under George Burley, Sky Bet quote 3/1 for the Rangers striker to renege on his threat and represent the national team in their 2010 World Cup campaign again while Burley is still at the helm.

Having lost his first competitive match in charge to Macedonia, going onto beat Iceland and draw with Norway on Saturday, under-fire Burley is just 11/10 still to be national manager at the end of qualifying (4/6 to be gone by September 9, 2009).

Sky Bet are also offering odds on when Scotland will next get a win in the World Cup and make them 15/2 to beat the Netherlands in their next qualifier on 28th March 2009 and 1/2 to pick up their next three points when Iceland visit Hampden Park on April 1,2009. It’s 8/1 for Scotland not to win another match during qualifying.Sky Bet Odds: 2010 World Cup
